Allizandra Herberhold

Exit Intervnetionist

Allizandra is an Exit Interventionist working directly with the people we serve. She holds a Masters in Clinical Social Work and Bachelor of Science from Washington University in Saint Louis. She is trained in Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM), Digital Threat Assessment, and Counseling Access to Lethal Means. Alli’s lived experience being exposed and taught hate has been a catalyst to motivate her commitment to empowering people to leave radical groups. She utilizes a combination of personal experience, BTAM, 12-Step Model knowledge, and her Clinical Social Work background to best help those she works with.

In addition to her work at Parents for Peace, Alli works as a Case Manager at an acute psychiatric hospital with adults and adolescents experiencing psychosis, suicidal or homicidal ideation. Her background includes working in a variety of in-patient settings such as: forensic treatment, substance use detox, eating disorder treatment, and acute psychiatric. During her time at in-patient facilities, she has worked with hundreds of violent convicted felons, their families and the justice system. Her experience has shown her the importance of early intervention and how it can steer a person off the pathway to violence.
