Helpline Coordinator

Isabella Castro is the Helpline Coordinator at Parents for Peace, where she provides compassionate support as the first responder for the helpline. She guides participants through the intake process and oversees case management, including scheduling, email communications, and family correspondence.

With a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Psychology from Boston University, Isabella brings over two years of experience in the countering-violent extremism field. Her work includes contributing to a National Institute of Justice-funded study on the psychosocial and trauma-related factors influencing U.S.-based terrorist offenders.

Deeply committed to understanding and addressing the radicalization process, Isabella is driven by a passion for early intervention and empowering families to build resilience. She strives to instill hope and provide critical support to families in crisis, believing that with the right resources, prevention is possible.
