We are thrilled to announce that Parents for Peace has been awarded a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) grant for FY24! This significant support will enable us to strengthen our prevention efforts, address the root causes of violence, and build resilience in underserved communities.
This grant will allow us to expand our critical work in vulnerable areas, providing families, educators, and community leaders with the tools they need to recognize and address the factors that contribute to radicalization and violence. By focusing on education, prevention, and support, we aim to create safer, stronger communities where everyone can thrive.
We are deeply grateful to the DHS for this opportunity and to our partners for their ongoing collaboration. Together, we are making strides in addressing violence as a public health issue and fostering resilience in the communities that need it most.
As we move forward with this important initiative, we remain committed to working hand-in-hand with our community partners to create lasting change. This grant is a powerful step toward a future where every individual has access to safety, support, and opportunity.
