Parents for Peace Engages with Moroccan Delegation on Counterterrorism

Myrieme Churchill presented Parents for Peace's approach to preventing and intervening in extremism to an official Moroccan delegation as part of a U.S. Department of State program.

We are pleased to share that Myrieme Churchill, Executive Director of Parents for Peace, was invited to present to an official delegation of the Moroccan government. The presentation focused on our organization’s work and approach to the prevention and intervention of extremism. This opportunity was part of the “Protecting Soft Targets Against Terrorist Attacks: A Project for Morocco” program, organized by the U.S. Department of State as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program.

The delegation comprised high-profile officials from various government and aviation agencies, reflecting the importance of the topic and the relevance of our work. This engagement was particularly meaningful for Myrieme, given her Moroccan heritage, and provided a unique platform to share insights and strategies that could benefit both nations.

We are honored to have had this opportunity to contribute to such a significant dialogue and look forward to continued collaboration on global efforts to combat extremism.
