Parents for Peace (P4P) is a 501(c)(3) empowering families across North America to break the cycle of extremism. Upholding non-partisan public health principles, we offer a confidential helpline and specialized coaching to intimate bystanders (e.g., parents, friends, spouses, etc.) struggling with the radicalization of a loved one. We focus on teaching intimate bystanders how to identify signs and root causes of radicalization to be fit to tackle them to build resilience and enduring strength within families and communities.
Hundreds of hours assisting diverse families on cases stemming from a wide range of extremist ideologies have enabled us to develop unique frontline expertise on the radicalization process. Driven by a sophisticated intervention protocol developed in conjunction with global experts, P4P’s helpline has helped dozens of people detach from extremist behavior – and in the process, prevented potential acts of violence.
