A world where hate has no home— and no home is blindsided by extremism.
Helping Hand

Through innovative, evidence-based interventions, we work to prevent radicalization and support healing, helping individuals, families, and communities grow stronger.

Guided by compassion and grounded in early action, we envision a future where connection and care protect what matters most.

Mission Statement

At Parents for Peace, we believe that extremism is not just a security issue—it’s a public health crisis that demands early intervention, education, and community-based support.

Research shows that the part of the brain responsible for reasoning and emotional regulation isn't fully developed until the mid-20s, making young people especially vulnerable to extreme ideologies. Yet the dominant response remains reactive and punitive, often involving law enforcement only when a crime is imminent. Families, fearing stigma or legal consequences, are too often left with nowhere to turn.

We offer a different path.

Inspired by public health models used to address addiction and domestic violence, our approach focuses on:

  • Early intervention – Equipping educators, clinicians, and community leaders to recognize warning signs before harm occurs

  • Prevention through education – Training frontline professionals and raising public awareness

  • Community-based support – Providing families with safe, non-punitive options, such as our confidential helpline

  • Collaborative solutions – Partnering with programs like DHS’s CP3 to invest in prevention at the local level

Over the past decade, we've helped dozens of individuals step away from violent ideologies—because when the right support is available, recovery is possible.

We now have the tools, knowledge, and partnerships to intervene earlier—and change lives before tragedy strikes. And we will use that knowledge to stop radicalization before it turns into violence—restoring hope, safety, and connection where it’s needed most.
